The head of the Liaison Office of Greece in Kosovo Mrs. Heleni Vakali, deputy head of the Greek Office Mr. Georgios Kranias and the attache Mr. Konstandinos Katsanos visited the Faculty of Philology yesterday. They were hosted by the dean prof. dr. Lindita Rugova and her collaborators. Dean Rugova and Ambassador Vakali discussed, among other things, the cooperation between UP and Greek universities and the possibilities of increasing these cooperations in the future, especially through the Erasmus+ program.

The main topic of discussion was the organization of a lecture by the professors of the University of Macedonia in Thessaloniki to mark the International Day of the Greek Language, but special emphasis was also given to the possibility of learning the Greek language at the Language Center. The parties agreed that the International Day of the Greek Language will be celebrated on February 10, 2023 at the Faculty of Philology.

On this occasion, the Ambassador Vakali presented the Faculty of Philology with a cultural guide for the 40 medieval port cities in the Aegean and the Black Sea
