The Department of English Language and Literature at the University of Prishtina is one of the most distinguished academic units within the Faculty of Philology, renowned for its significant contribution to higher education and research in Kosovo. By fostering a welcoming and collaborative atmosphere, the department has established strong and productive student-professor relationships, enabling personalized guidance and academic success.The department offers a comprehensive 4-year Bachelor of Arts (BA) program that culminates in a diploma paper, designed to prepare students for a variety of professional and academic pursuits.

Additionally, the department provides two distinct 1-year Master of Arts (MA) programs: the Linguistics Integrated Program, which focuses on linguistic theory and application, and the English Literature Program, which delves into literary analysis and critical approaches. Both MA programs require students to complete a thesis paper that demonstrates their advanced research and academic expertise.
