Njoftim per bursa studimi ne Hungari

     Following the launching of the Scientific and Educational Co-operation Programme between the Republic of Kosovo and Hungary in 2016, by now we have more than 120 Kosovan students studying in Hungary.
    This year the scholarship program continues and additional 50 students from the Republic of Kosovo will have the possibility to start their studies in Hungary from September 2019.
    The quotas remain the same, that is:

     25 scholarships for full BA/BSc study programmes
     20 scholarships for full MA/MSc programmes
     5 scholarships for full PhD or DLA studies in any field of interest.

    Study programmes are generally available in English and Hungarian languages, with some programmes offered in German and French as well. Conditions of the scholarship:

     visa application free of charge
     exemption from the payment of tuition fees
     monthly allowance – during 12 months per year or during the period of the partial studies: HUF 40,460/month (cca 130 EUR) in the case of preparatory, one-tier master, bachelor (BA/BSc) and master programmes (MA/MSc) and HUF 140,000/month (cca 450 EUR) for the first two years and HUF 180 000 (cca 580 EUR) for the second two years in the case of doctoral programs (extra HUF 400 000 (cca 1290 EUR) in the end if the student finishes successfully the doctoral program)
     assistance by the institution in finding accommodation (student hostel room/bed depending on the capacity of the higher education institution or an accommodation allowance of HUF 40,000/month (cca 130 EUR)
     health insurance according to the relevant Hungarian legislation and supplementary medical insurance
     assistance with the entry and residence of the scholarship holder in Hungary, particularly: visa and residence permit, application for a social security card and a student identification card

    The application procedure:

    - The application period started earlier this, year, students can already apply, and the final deadline is 15 January 2019. - Applicants will be informed about the result of the first round of selection in March 2019. - Scholarships will be granted to students upon successful entrance exam in April and May, at the host institution. - Applicants are informed about the final result of application at the end of July 2019. - During August 2019 students have to start their visa application procedure and organize their travel to Hungary. Prior to commencing their studies in Hungarian language, students shall take part in a one-year preparatory course provided by the receiving institution.
    Students applying for programmes in a foreign language shall have an appropriate knowledge of that foreign language (English, French, German).
